MOHAWK TO INTRODUCE CUSTOM DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AT DHI CONFERENCE
By Barry Shovlin, Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mohawk is introducing a cutting edge finishing
technology at the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) industry conference in
San Antonio, T
exas
this October 29-31.
This new technology was developed at Masonite's Research & Development
Center in West Chicago, IL. Mohawk will be introducing
our unprecedented ability to reproduce virtually any wood specie, grain
pattern, or graphic on almost any door with incredible authenticity.
Our new finishing process can be done on a wide variety of substrates, even
Masonite Molded Panel doors.
The result is an infinite array of graphic possibilities, including the
appearance of a custom stile and rail door at just a fraction of the price.
Plus, the look of exotic or rare species is now available without cutting
environmentally protected trees.
Artistically speaking, this custom finishing process provides endless
creative opportunities. Imagine incorporating custom graphics and
sketched faces into your overall design or theme... or doing away with
clumsy signage and simply printing logos and informational graphics directly
on the doors. The sky is the limit!
