Tent Camping

In September our girls went tent camping for the first time.  While at camp the girls played, learned tent maintenance, how to cook over a campfire, did crafts, went on hikes and even cleaned the latrines!  In the evening after the campfire and treats the girls headed off to their tents.  About half an hour later strong winds began and a thunderstorm started.  The adults safely guided the girls to the nearby lodge for the remainder of the night.  In the morning the girls were surprised when they saw a tree that the storm had brought down.
