HEART OF AMERICA Seed Bead Pin
                
Materials Needed:
                
One       -   #2 (1 1/2" long)
Brass Safety pin
                
Thirteen  - #0 (7/8" long)   Brass Safety pins
Bead the small pins as follows:
                
First pin: 1 red, 6 Ice (clear), 1 red
                
Second pin: 8 ice
                
Third pin: 2 ice, 2 blue, 1 red, 3 clear
                
Fourth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 2 white, 2 clear
                
Fifth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 3 red, 1 ice
                
Sixth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 3 white, 1 ice
                
Seventh pin: 2 ice, 2 blue, 4 red
                
Eighth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 3 white, 1 ice
                
Ninth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 3 red, 1 ice
                
Tenth pin: 1 ice, 3 blue, 2 white, 2 ice
                
Eleventh pin: 2 ice, 2 blue, 1 red, 3 ice
                
Twelfth pin: 8 ice
                
Thirteenth pin: 1 red, 6 ice, 1 red
                
Close each pin as soon as the last bead has been added.  Use Pliers to
crimp
                
end (head) of pin closed.  Keep beaded pins in proper order 1 to 8.
                
Finish up:  With large pin closed, use knife or nail file to gently open
                
loop
                
in large pin.  Open loop just wide enough for looped end of a small safety
                
pin
                
to slide through.  Open pin.  Hold head of pin in left hand.  You
will add
                
beaded pins to larger pin working from right to left.  Start with pin #8
and
                
slide onto large pin. Beads should be facing away from you. Slide remaining
                
beaded pins onto large pin (all going on the same direction.) Use pliers to
                
reclose loop in large pin.
