Bike Rodeo

Our troop took part in the service unit sponsored bike rodeo.  The girls listened to speakers on bike safety, road safety, bike maintenance and the importance of helmets and how they fit.  After the speakers the girls had their helmets fitted and bikes inspected.  Now they were ready to ride.  All of the girls went on a ride with an officer.  This officer told them about road safety and explained different signs to them.  then the girls participated in many obstacle courses to learn how to handle their bikes.  It was a great day and all of the girls learned something new while having fun.
